Frequently Asked Questions

Where do our animals come from?

We take in dogs, cats, and horses and we get them from bylaw, or when people surrender them for various reasons. Most commonly, if the animal is surrendered by the owner, it is usually either a senior that has to move to a nursing home, or someone that is moving and cannot take the animal with them.

What happens when we take in a new animal?

All of the animals we rescue are given appropriate veterinary care that they need. This includes spaying/neutering and get up to date vaccinations. They then live in a foster home until they are ready to be adopted out, and we try to find them a permantent home.

What are the adoption fees?

please contact rescue for adoption fees.

What is the return policy?

We have a 30 day return policy. If the pet does not work out we will refund the money within the 30 day period.

Where do we get our funding?

We rely on donations and raising money through fundraising events. We do a few big fundraisers each year, so keep checking in on our website for any updates on upcoming events!

Where are we located?

Donalda Animal Rescue does not have a facility. All of our animals are taken care of in a foster home, so if you are interested in meeting one of our adoptable animals, please contact us and we would love to arrange a meeting with you!
